What is Manuka Honey?

Manuka honey is a rare type of honey that is harvested from the Manuka flower, which is only found in New Zealand.
Manuka honey has strong antibacterial properties, and due to its antibacterial effects it has long been used to treat and prevent periodontal disease, stomatitis, skin diseases, wounds, duodenal ulcers, gastroenteritis, and stomach cancer.
